The two-ply denim project received over 30 million yen in support through crowdfunding.
The ultimate goal of this project is to give back to the local community, who have supported us since our founding, by gifting them workwear made from denim.
On Saturday, March 8th, and Sunday, March 9th, we held the "Shinno Yamagata Big Fitting Session" where local residents could try on and order the products, fulfilling that promise.
While we were a bit nervous wondering "Will everyone come?", over 100 people visited us over the two days.
People we hadn't seen in decades, people who thanked us repeatedly, people who encouraged us, people who came early at 8 AM (lol), and people who helped us clean up the venue...
We were able to once again feel the numerous connections we've built since our founding and the great expectations everyone has for us.
