The crowdfunding campaign that started on March 10, 2021, ended on May 9.
As a result, we achieved over 50 million yen, far exceeding our target of 1 million yen.
We set a new record as the number one crowdfunding project in the jeans category in Japan and the highest-achieving project ever in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions (as of May 9, 2022).
We are extremely pleased to have revived Rainbow Jeans and to be able to deliver them to those who supported us.
To everyone who supported us, thank you very, very much.
We will produce these jeans with the utmost care and responsibility to ensure they bring joy to everyone.
We will continue to deliver appealing and reliable products from "Uchida Housei," a small sewing factory in the countryside, and we appreciate your continued support.
■ Project Overview
The "Rainbow" denim fabric was created about four years ago, born from the desire to make jeans that one would "enjoy wearing every day due to their appealing aging process."
However, shortly after the initial batch (about 100 pairs) went on sale, the Great West Japan Flood occurred. All the fabric in the warehouse, including the remaining Rainbow fabric, was discarded.
Time passed, and in September 2021, we were moved by the fading of a pair of Rainbow jeans returned for repair by a customer, which led us to launch this revival project.
The purpose of this project is to revive Rainbow jeans after four years. It is also to share the appeal of Rainbow and the "joy" of wearing jeans for a long time with as many people as possible.
