Hemming bottoms
UCHIDA HÔSEI offers free hemming for jeans and bottoms products.
For jeans, alterations will be done using Union Special 43200G.
*We do not hem products from other companies.
① If hemming upon purchase
(You can wear the product immediately after it arrives)
- To determine the approximate inseam length, please prepare a pair of pants you own that have a similar silhouette and rise.
- As shown in the image, with the wrinkles straightened, measure the length along the curve of the inseam to the hem.
*The starting point of the measurement is the center of the stitch.
*Please measure along the curve of the inseam with the wrinkles straightened as much as possible.
3. Determine the inseam length based on your measurement.
*If you plan to roll them up, please add the length of the cuff to the inseam measurement.
4. When purchasing the product, please write "Inseam length 〇〇cm" in the remarks section.
*Returns and exchanges are not possible after hemming.

② If hemming after wearing
(For first-time buyers or those who want a precise fit)
1. Wear the purchased jeans, fold the hem outwards to your desired finished length, and secure the left heel portion with a clip or similar. This folded position will be your finished length.
*Normally, one side (left) is sufficient, but if you wish to change the length of both sides, clip both legs and inform us of your request.
2. Please send the product to us along with a form containing all the following information.

◆ UCHIDA HÔSEI's recommended hem length
We recommend a length where the hem floats 0.5cm to 1cm off the ground when you stand straight in your jeans.
When wearing shoes, this length creates an appropriate cushion, allows you to roll up the hem to show the selvedge, and is versatile as it prevents the hem from dragging on the ground.
