We manufactured a "denim happi" at the request of the Mimasaka Prefectural Bureau.
This happi uses Uchida Sewing's original "Sakura" fabric.
The characteristic of this fabric is that the weft threads are sakura-colored, inspired by cherry blossoms.
When worn for many years, both the indigo warp threads and the sakura-colored weft threads will fade, allowing you to enjoy a unique aging process.
It was evening when we delivered the product.
Since the photos were taken in the evening sun, the "Sakura" color appears dull.
It's also interesting how the appearance of this fabric changes significantly depending on indoor/outdoor settings, shade/sunlight, and the type of light.
