The "Double Yarn Denim Project" received over 30 million yen in support through crowdfunding.
The ultimate goal of this project is to give back to the local community that has supported us since our founding, by presenting them with workwear made from denim.
On Saturday, March 8th, and Sunday, March 9th, we held the "Niiyama Yamagata Grand Fitting Event" where local residents could try on and order the products, fulfilling that promise.
We were anxious wondering "Will many people come?", but over 100 people visited us over the two days.
There were people I hadn't seen in decades, people who repeatedly said "thank you," people who cheered us on, people who came early at 8 AM (lol), and people who helped us clean up the venue, among others.
It allowed me to once again feel the many connections we've made since our founding and the great expectations everyone has for us.
