For over half a century since its founding, Uchida Hosei has been sewing jeans. "UCHIDA HÔSEI" is an expression of their craftsmanship, utilizing the techniques and experience they have cultivated. We meticulously select materials that will develop a beautiful patina over time, and we pursue sewing methods that bring out their full potential.

TEXTILE

We are developing original denim that changes expression the more you wear it, allowing you to enjoy the process of "breaking it in."

SEWING

Our sewing techniques are designed to make your garments last longer and to bring out the maximum aging potential of the fabric.

LEATHER PATCH

Each cowhide patch is custom-made, from leather selection to finishing.

POCKET LINING

Usually, twill fabric is used for pocket linings, but UCHIDA HÔSEI uses a plain-weave fabric with excellent strength.

BUTTONS, RIVETS

The buttons are stainless steel. The rivets are copper. Over time, the material will develop a deeper, richer character.
