■ Project Overview
The "Rainbow" denim fabric was born approximately four years ago out of a desire to create jeans that "I'd want to wear every day, looking forward to how they change over time."
However, shortly after the initial batch (approx. 100 pairs) went on sale, the Great West Japan Flood occurred. All of the fabric in our warehouse, including the remaining Rainbow fabric, was discarded.
Time passed, and in September 2021, I was deeply moved by the fading of a pair of Rainbow jeans that had been returned for repair, which inspired me to launch this revival project.
The purpose of this project is to revive Rainbow after four years, and to share the appeal of Rainbow and the "joy" of wearing jeans for a long time with as many people as possible.
- About Crowdfunding -
There are broadly two types of crowdfunding: donation-based and purchase-based. This time, it's purchase-based.
Purchase-based crowdfunding solicits support by providing products from the project as a return to supporters who provide funds. Simply put, it's like a pre-order system (where products are purchased in advance).
The cost of producing Rainbow fabric is enormous, so we are undertaking this crowdfunding effort to cover part of those costs.
Please note that this project is "All or Nothing," meaning if the target amount is not reached, the plan cannot be executed, and rewards cannot be delivered.
